Has anyone else been following the Justin Anderson case in Booneville? I've been thinking a lot about how quickly the Booneville PD managed to apprehend a suspect after the shooting. It must bring at least a small sense of relief to Justin's family to know that law enforcement acted swiftly. Yet, I can only imagine the pain they're enduring. Gun violence is such a pervasive issue, and incidents like this make me wonder how we can better protect our communities and support victims' families. It's just so devastating to see another life cut short, especially over a holiday weekend meant for family and togetherness. Sending all my thoughts to the Anderson family during this unimaginably difficult time. Does anyone have more info on what steps the community is taking to address the gun violence problem?
