I've been thinking a lot about the role of community vigilance in preventing tragedies like the one involving Robert "June Bug" Jones. It's surreal to think that someone who was so loved could meet such a tragic end right outside his own home. Something that keeps coming up in discussions around town is how neighbors might've sensed tension or conflict without realizing how serious it was. Can we, as communities, do more to notice and address issues before they escalate into violence? I know it's a delicate topic, but maybe there's a way we can honor June Bug's memory by starting conversations about staying alert and supporting one another more actively. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this difficult time.
