Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about the Robert Preston case from 2006 lately. There's a detail that really sticks with me: the location where his body was found. It's such a remote area off I-75, which seems like a spot that someone would intentionally choose to ensure they aren’t discovered quickly. This makes me wonder if the person who did this possibly knew the area well, maybe even had some connection to Sumter County. It’s unsettling to think there might be someone familiar with our community involved in such a terrible act.
I can’t imagine the pain Robert’s family must feel, especially without having closure or knowing why this happened. If anyone has local knowledge or knows of any possible theories, it might just be the piece of the puzzle investigators need. Keeping this case in the public eye is so important in hopes that justice will be served for Robert and his loved ones.
Sending strength to everyone who still hurts from his loss.
Stay safe,

It's so difficult to fathom the pain Robert Preston's family must feel, not having any clear answers after all these years. I was looking into similar cases and noticed that isolated areas near interstates sadly seem to be common sites for crime scenes, maybe because they allow for a quick getaway. Has anyone else noticed this pattern? It got me thinking about whether Robert's case might be connected to other unsolved incidents in the region. Even though it's a long shot, maybe compiling details from similar cases could reveal a pattern or lead. I genuinely hope new information comes to light soon for Robert's loved ones.
