Hey everyone, I came across Nashyilah Jackson's case while scrolling through NamUs, and it's really got me thinking about the bigger picture here. Nashyilah went missing over a year ago in Pleasantville, and it’s like she just vanished into thin air. What's frustrating is how cases like hers often don’t get the attention they deserve. It seems like every time a young Black or Hispanic teen goes missing, there's this pattern of silence from the media.
I get that not every case can be in the spotlight, but it feels like there needs to be a bigger push from all of us to make some noise. Imagine how different the search efforts might be if the media covered every missing person with the same intensity. I've seen local advocates trying to raise awareness, but they can't do it alone. We can help by sharing her story, posting about her online, or even contacting local news outlets to ask why cases like hers aren't covered more extensively. It's a small effort that could make a big difference. Thoughts?
