Has anyone else been thinking about the brave response by the community and law enforcement following Chasity and Zella's tragic deaths? I've been reflecting on how quickly the suspects were identified and apprehended, especially considering the manhunt for Dejan Belnavis that even spanned states. It's good to see such determination in bringing justice, but it doesn't ease the pain of losing Chasity and Zella. Chasity served in the National Guard; it's so disheartening to think she survived military life, only to lose her life in such a senseless act. It's crucial to acknowledge how much she contributed to her country and how much she was planning her future with her daughters. I hope the community continues to support Chasity's surviving daughter in this incredibly difficult time. There have been mentions of outreach from local organizations, and I truly wish they rally around her to provide the love and care she needs. Losing a sibling and a parent so suddenly is unimaginable. Does anyone have more information on community efforts in Worcester to help the family or ways we can show our support? This family deserves all the warmth and compassion we can extend during this horrific time. It's unreal what some people are capable of doing, leaving a little girl to grow up without her closest kin. We need to focus on the light, though, and ensure her path forward is surrounded by love.

Has anyone else been reeling from the fact that the street was full of children when the shooting happened? I’ve been thinking about the impact on those kids who might have witnessed this tragedy unfold before their eyes. It breaks my heart to think of the trauma they must be experiencing. Schools need to step up their support for these young witnesses, offering counseling and making sure they feel safe again. I can’t even begin to fathom the fear that must be rippling through families in the neighborhood right now. Sending strength and love to Chasity and Zella's family, friends, and the entire community.
