Has anyone else felt deeply affected by John's love for poetry and the arts? It's so rare to find someone who expresses themselves with such depth and passion. I’ve been thinking a lot about his involvement in The Bookworm's poetry group. It seems like it was a space where he connected with others and shared his soul through words. Poetry can be such a healing and powerful form of expression, and it's comforting to know that he had that outlet. For those who knew him, did his poetry ever reveal more about his personal struggles or joys? Sometimes, words on a page can show things we don't see in everyday interactions. It's tragic to lose someone with a voice like his. My heart goes out to his family, especially those who also shared in his love for literature and creativity. I hope they find some solace in the beautiful words he left behind.

It’s incredibly sad to think about the impact John Homan's passing has had on the students and staff at Northridge Middle School. Having worked as an MLL Paraprofessional, he must have touched so many lives. I can only imagine how those kids are feeling, having lost someone who was likely a constant presence and support in their school days. It breaks my heart to think about that empty space in the classroom, and I hope the school is offering support to those who need it during this time. Thinking back to how John's colleagues must be coping with this loss too, I can't help but wonder how they're adjusting to this emotional blow. Supporting each other in a tight-knit environment like a school is crucial, and I hope they find some comfort in the memories and impact he left behind. Anyone here from the area or with connections to the school? How's everyone handling things over there?
