I came across the memorial page for Guillermo Ramos, and it really touched me to see his friends and family sharing their memories and lighting virtual candles. It’s clear that Guillermo was deeply loved by those who knew him. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain his family is going through right now. It must be incredibly difficult not knowing who is responsible for this tragic loss. Chicago's constant struggle with gun violence is truly alarming and makes me wonder how many more families will have to suffer this kind of pain. The lack of information about suspects or arrests is frustrating, but I hope that with continued attention on his case, some answers will come to light. Sending strength and love to all those affected by his death. If anyone has more information about local efforts to reduce gun violence or support victims’ families, please share.
