Has anyone looked into weather reports the day Charles went missing in October 1980? I'm curious if there were any unexpected storms or high winds. A friend of mine who's into fishing told me that even experienced sailors can get caught off guard if the weather changes suddenly. It might help shed light on what happened if we knew more about the conditions that day. Also, are there any records of maritime traffic in that area around the time he disappeared? Wondering if another vessel could have accidentally caused the damage to his boat. Just trying to piece together any additional details!

Hey everyone, I've been reading through the posts about Charles and something that caught my attention was the weather on the day he went missing. I looked up the historical data, and it seems like there might have been an unexpected storm front that moved in around the time he was supposed to be out at sea. Could this sudden change in weather have played a role in why his vessel was found with a hole in the hull? Just wondering if anyone else thinks this might be significant or has more info on the weather conditions that day. Also, were there any weather alerts or warnings issued that he might have missed? Thanks!

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the whole Charles mystery. Has anyone looked into the weather conditions on the day he disappeared? I've read that sudden storms can brew up in that area, especially in late October. Could it be possible that rough seas caused the damage to the boat? Maybe Charles tried to swim to safety or was knocked off by a wave. I've also come across stories of boats being capsized by rogue waves out of nowhere. It’s just gut-wrenching to think about someone being caught in such a terrifying situation. Would love to hear what others think about this possibility.
