I've been following the Alton Peacock case, and something that really puzzles me is the seemingly complete lack of evidence or leads. It's been over 40 years, and there’s still no trace of him after his trip to the Bahamas. Does anyone know if there was ever any investigation into the people he might have been dealing with for the drug transaction? It seems strange that nothing at all came out of those inquiries. Were there ever any rumors or suspicions about any foul play involving his contacts over there? It's astonishing how someone can just vanish without leaving even the smallest hint of what might have happened. I hope someday we'll have more clarity on this.

Hey sleuths, I was reading up on old cases and came across Alton Peacock's disappearance. It's been on my mind how there have been zero updates or breakthroughs in all these years. It makes me wonder about the challenges investigators face when dealing with cases tied to international locations like this one. If Peacock's last known whereabouts involved the Bahamas, does anyone know how local law enforcement jurisdictions might have been involved back in the 1980s? Were there collaborative efforts with Bahamian authorities, or did the case mostly remain in the hands of Fort Lauderdale PD? Sharing any insights would be great, especially if you know how cross-border cooperation might differ in missing persons cases.
