I've been following the Cedar Grove case, and my heart goes out to Edward Dixon's family and everyone affected by the violence in that complex. It's shocking and deeply concerning to see these repeated tragedies, and yet there still seems to be no action taken by the authorities. I'm particularly bewildered by the fact that, despite multiple incidents, no arrests have been made. How does this continue to happen? Regarding the negligent security lawsuits, I really feel for the families and their sense of frustration. It shouldn’t have to come to legal action just to get basic safety measures in place for residents and visitors. But sometimes, hitting where it hurts financially is the only way to make a change. I commend these families for their bravery in standing up and demanding accountability. If anyone out there has even the smallest bit of info on what happened, please consider speaking up. The community and the victims’ families need our support to bring about justice and change.
