Has anyone else heard about the candlelight vigil held for Lawan Christopher Burns? I read it was organized by his friends and family at the same basketball courts on Fred Conner St. where he was tragically taken from us. It must have been incredibly emotional for everyone who knew and loved him. I can't imagine the pain his loved ones are going through right now, but it seems like they wanted to come together to honor his memory and celebrate his life. If anyone attended or has more details about the event, it would be meaningful to hear how the community came together to support each other during such a difficult time. It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of community and keeping the memory of victims like Lawan alive as we all hope for justice to be served.

I've been following the tragic case of Lawan Christopher Burns, and like many of you, I'm just trying to make sense of it all. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now. It’s awful to think that someone would open fire at a place that’s supposed to be a safe space for community and recreation. These basketball courts were likely a second home to him and many others. I remember reading somewhere about how Lawan had just celebrated his 22nd birthday not long before the incident. Can you imagine? Such a stark and painful reminder of how quickly things can change. I hope that those who might have seen or heard something that night find the courage to share what they know. Justice for Lawan and peace for his family depend on it. Let's keep talking and doing what we can to support this investigation. Anyone else from the area have any thoughts on how we can raise awareness or help?

Hey everyone, I’ve been thinking a lot about that tragic incident in Avon Park where Lawan Burns lost his life. It’s been weeks, and I just can't imagine what his family must be going through right now. I noticed that Lawan was shot at the basketball courts late at night. It just makes me wonder about the safety around that area. Do people frequently hang out there at such hours? Was it common for Lawan and his friends to play or gather at the courts after midnight? Maybe someone who was familiar with his routines could provide more context. I feel like if we share even the smallest details, it might lead us to more clues. Let’s keep the discussion going and do whatever we can to help the authorities solve this case. Every piece of information is crucial. Please, if anyone knows anything, even if it seems insignificant, reach out to the authorities. Lawan and his loved ones deserve justice.
