I've been reading over Anita Tamboom's case, and something just keeps nagging at me about the discovery of her purse by Lake Ontario. I mean, was there ever any indication of how long it had been there before it was found? Did they check the shoreline for additional clues? Sometimes things wash up that might seem insignificant but can be critical. It's odd that this was the last trace of her—I'd assume they did a thorough search of the area. It's just baffling how even with something as personal as her purse, it still led to more dead ends. Anyone have more info on how expansive that part of the investigation was? Maybe I missed something in the older reports.
