I’ve been thinking a lot about the odd location where Howard Scott’s car was found—on a logging road near Moyie, BC. It baffles me how his car ended up so far off his intended route. It’s not like he’d accidentally take that kind of detour. Was he trying to avoid something on the main roads, or did someone else drive him there? Has anyone considered the old family myths about secret logging areas in the region? Maybe someone who knows the logging roads took him there? The car alone raises so many questions, and I wonder if there are folks in Moyie who remember seeing anything back then. It feels like if we can figure out why the car was there, we might get closer to understanding the whole situation.
