I've been digging into some of the environmental factors that might have played a role in Wayne's disappearance. God's Lake is a pretty remote area with dense forests and challenging terrain. I'm curious about the local wildlife back in 1985. Were there any dangerous animals that could have posed a threat to a young teenager? Or perhaps the rugged landscape itself presented hazards that might have been overlooked during the search. It's so hard to imagine such a thorough search yielding no clues whatsoever. Anyone from the area or with knowledge about those conditions back then, I'd love your input!
