I've been following Sylvie Ouimet's case for a while now, and I keep coming back to the detail about her leaving the hospital without any of her belongings. To me, this is really significant. It's like she made a sudden, impulsive decision to leave. Given that she didn't take anything with her, it might suggest that she didn't plan to be gone long, or maybe she didn't know where she was going at all. It's haunting to consider the kind of headspace she might have been in, especially given her mental health struggles at the time. I wonder if anyone from the hospital staff or other patients noticed anything odd or if they saw her talking to someone before she left. These small interactions could hold some valuable clues. Has anyone come across information on whether they checked CCTV footage from nearby areas? I know it was 1975, but maybe something could turn up from neighboring businesses or streets that might not have been considered back then. Any thoughts or similar cases where people just walked away without a trace?
