Hi everyone, I've been revisiting the case of Emile Morissette and stumbled upon something interesting related to the time period when he disappeared. It seems like in the summer of 1976, the Timmins area was experiencing some logging activity near Birch Lake. While I haven't found anything directly linking the logging to Emile's disappearance, I can't help but wonder if anyone has explored the possibility of him encountering someone or something connected to those operations. There might not be any definitive evidence, but knowing the area at the time could offer some context. Does anyone here have more info on local events or activities taking place there around July '76? It's a long shot, but any small detail could be valuable. Hoping to piece together more of this puzzle.
