Did anyone else know that Louis had ties in Edmonton? It seems like an important angle that hasn’t been explored enough in the discussions so far. Given his history and struggles, is it possible that he might have decided to go back to Edmonton for some reason? It might have been a place where he felt familiar or where he had contacts who could offer him a fresh start or some kind of support. Maybe connecting with folks in Edmonton, especially those in the community who may have been in similar circumstances, could lead to some new information. It's a long shot, but sometimes people return to places where they've found some sense of belonging or community in the past. Anyone here with the ability to reach out to shelters or community support groups in Edmonton? It might be a long time since 2004, but you never know who might remember crossing paths with him.
