I was thinking about the timeline of Mohamed's last few months in Toronto before his disappearance. Does anyone know if there were any changes in his behavior or interests before he was last seen? Sometimes subtle shifts in someone’s life can provide clues or context. I read that he went on pilgrimage to Mecca before presumably heading to Somalia, but does anyone know if there were any indications that he was planning something like this beforehand? It’s odd how someone planning a major life change might drop hints or display different behaviors that friends or family might only realize in hindsight. Anyone from that time who went to university with him or knew him from the mosque remember anything unusual?
