Hey everyone, I've been digging into the disappearance of Abdol Hossein from back in 1999, and something that's really piqued my interest is the lack of media coverage at the time. It seems strange to me how a man can vanish and there be such a minimal public record or news articles from those days. Was this common for missing persons cases in Toronto during that period? I understand that not every case gets widespread attention, but considering this guy just disappeared one day, you'd think it would have sparked more interest back then. It makes me wonder if there was a particular reason the media didn't latch onto the story or if his case just slipped through the cracks. If anyone has more insight into how missing person cases were typically handled by the media during the late '90s in Toronto, I'd love to hear your thoughts. Maybe there's something we can learn from this gap in coverage that could provide new angles to explore in the case.
