It's intriguing to consider the potential clues that might have been overlooked in George Greyeyes' disappearance back in '78. I've been pondering the possibility that he might have encountered someone while out there, perhaps a fellow hunter or someone else in the wilderness. Given that he was familiar with the terrain, it's hard to believe that the harsh weather alone could have entirely thrown him off course. Does anyone here know if there were any local reports of other people in the area around the same time? Perhaps there were other hunters or hikers that could provide some kind of perspective. It just seems feasible that he might have interacted with someone, and maybe they saw something noteworthy that wasn't initially considered significant. The absence of any footprints or personal belongings is puzzling, and any seemingly minor detail might hold the key. It would be fascinating to explore other angles to understand what really happened out there.
