It's been over two decades since Christopher James Giberson disappeared, and it's frustrating how little information seems to have surfaced. I've always found it especially troubling that he managed to leave the hospital undetected. In any situation involving someone in a vulnerable mental state, one would expect tighter oversight, particularly when they're awaiting psychiatric evaluation. Does anyone know if there were ever any security changes at Saint John Regional following his disappearance? It's haunting to think this could have been a preventable situation with stricter protocols. If anyone has insights into the procedures at the hospital back then, or similar cases, I'd be interested to hear perspectives on what could have possibly happened after he left. Could he have been picked up by someone, or is it plausible that he intended to disappear on his own accord?
