Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Mark Gerald Gibbons case and something that’s been on my mind is the role of weather on that fateful day. February 1st, 1991, was a cold winter day in Calgary, and it makes me wonder how the harsh weather conditions might have influenced the situation. Did the icy roads or heavy snow play a part if he drove anywhere? Could he have wandered off in the cold and gotten disoriented? Another thought is the possibility of witnesses being less likely to be outside at that time, meaning fewer people around to see or hear anything unusual. If anyone has insights into how weather might have impacted search efforts or if similar cases were affected by poor conditions, I’d love to hear. It’s been over three decades, but these small details might shed some light or spark a new lead. Stay safe, everyone.
