I’ve been following Marcel Gauthier’s case for a while, and something I find truly puzzling is the delay in reporting his disappearance. Marcel was last seen on August 17, 1983, but wasn’t reported missing until September 6. That's nearly three weeks! ? Why do you think there was such a long gap? Was it normal back then for adults not to be reported missing right away, or could it suggest something more significant? It’s been bugging me because knowing the reason for this delay might shed light on what was happening in Marcel's life at the time. If anyone is local to Trois-Rivières or has insights into community practices from that era, I'd appreciate your thoughts!
