Has anyone else found it odd that Shauna Hampton's case wasn't entered into NamUs until nearly a decade after she disappeared? ? I know there might be reasons for a delay in reporting, but this seems like a huge gap in time for such an important step in the investigation process. If her family reported her missing in March 2015, what took so long for her case to get logged into a national database like NamUs? I feel like this delay could have significantly hindered any potential early leads. Does anyone here have any insights into the typical process for entering missing persons into such databases or why there might be such a long delay? It's frustrating to think that she might have had a better chance of being found if the ball had been rolling sooner. I hope the authorities get the info they need to provide some answers.

Has anyone else been struck by the delay in the missing persons report for Shauna Hampton? Waiting until March 2015 to report her missing seems incredibly unusual, considering she vanished in July 2014. It makes me wonder what happened in those eight months. Was there any communication between Shauna's family and authorities during that period? A gap like that must have affected the initial investigation and could be why there's so little to go on now. I really hope more details come out, especially since she wasn’t put into NamUs until 2023! Can anyone shed more light on how such delays impact search efforts?

It really is puzzling how someone goes missing right outside a police department, of all places. Has anyone looked into whether there might have been any CCTV footage from around that area on July 3, 2014? You would think there’d at least be some kind of camera around the station that could provide a clue, or maybe even some street cameras. I know it was almost a decade ago now, which definitely complicates things, but it feels like there should’ve been some effort to track down that kind of evidence earlier on. With Shauna not being reported missing until March 2015, it's like there’s this massive gap where things didn’t line up. Also, was there ever any insight from her family about why it took so long to report her missing? This case has more questions than answers, and it’s frustrating to watch unfold from here. Would love to hear from anyone who might have more insight on this aspect.
