I was digging through old newspaper archives from Kenora around that time, and I came across a report of a roadwork project on Main Street that was happening right around the time Greg disappeared. I know it's a long shot, but has anyone considered the possibility that construction workers or anyone involved in the project might have seen something? People on the sites often start work early, so maybe someone spotted him in the morning trying to hitch a ride or walking somewhere unusual. Sometimes, eyewitnesses don't even realize what they saw could be important until years later. Just throwing this out there in case it sparks something new for the investigation. Thoughts?
