I've been doing some digging on the case of Reynald Fortin, and something that's been puzzling me is the blue 'Anorak' coat he was last seen wearing. Considering the harsh winters in Quebec, especially in February, I'm wondering if anyone knows whether this specific coat was something he wore habitually or if it was unusual for him to have it on that day. Was it possibly a new purchase or a gift? Given how people often have a favorite winter coat, any deviation might hold a clue. If it wasn't his usual choice, maybe he was spotted or remembered that day more vividly by someone in the area. Has anyone else looked into this aspect? Could this detail point to where he might have gone or whom he might have met? It's a small thread, but sometimes the details make the difference.
