I've been following Patsy's case for a while, and I'm curious if anyone else has noticed the recent similarities between her disappearance and some newer missing persons cases. There has been mention of similar cars being seen in other unsolved cases from the region around that time. Does anyone know if these connections have ever been thoroughly explored or if they were just thrown around as rumors? Also, I was looking into the police's handling of the case back in the '80s. I remember reading that the initial 72-hour wait was a common practice, but it seems so detrimental, especially with how critical the first hours are. I know there have been criticisms of the police response back then, but I'm genuinely wondering if there's been any official acknowledgment or changes in policy because of cases like hers. It's frustrating to think how many more answers might exist if things had been done differently at the time. Any insight or sources would be appreciated!
