I was just thinking about the conversation surrounding Huguette Douville's case and the potential hitchhiking angle. It's interesting how that one detail can open up so many routes (literally and figuratively) for the investigation. Given the nature of hitchhiking, it's like trying to trace a journey without a map. She might have interacted with numerous people during her travels, and any of those encounters could hold a clue. I really wonder if any of those who offered her a ride remember crossing paths with her. It’s a long shot, but maybe someone out there might see a post like this and recall something from that time. It’s a distant hope, but history has shown that the smallest detail can sometimes crack a case wide open. Thoughts?
