Seeing some of the recent posts here got me thinking about the area where Donald Douma went missing. Osnabruck Center isn't a huge place, more like a spot on the map. I've passed through a few times, and it's the kind of community where people would notice if someone new started hanging around or if anything out of the ordinary occurred. Given Donald's love for the outdoors and the fact he was comfortable hitchhiking, I'm curious about the trails or paths that existed around there in the early '80s. Nowadays, it's a bit easier to trace these routes via apps and GPS, but back then, I bet there were some less-traveled paths perfect for someone looking to get lost or move without being seen. Has anyone here explored old maps or historical records of the area to see if there's a potential path Donald might have taken? It feels like a long shot, but maybe someone in the community back then has memories or stories about trails or camping spots from that time.
