I've been following the case of Lucie Bouchard recently, and I keep coming back to the location where she left her sister. It struck me as odd that Lucie would drop Hélène off at the corner of Saint-Michel and Crémazie Est boulevards, which apparently wasn’t even close to her actual residence. I've been digging into the area a bit, and back in 1996, it wasn't exactly the safest spot after dark. It makes me wonder if Lucie had some urgent reason for choosing that location. Was she possibly trying to avoid something or someone, or was her decision affected by her state of mind due to her health? The fact that her demeanor was described as confused and impatient that evening makes me think something was already troubling her. If anyone has insights or theories about this particular choice of drop-off point, I'm all ears!
