I’ve been digging into the case of the missing people from the 1991 Igloolik to Hall Beach canoe tragedy. One thing that really sticks with me is the courage and resilience of Abraham Oolalak. Imagine surviving in those brutal Arctic conditions for 24 hours, clinging to a piece of ice. It’s hard to fathom what he went through both physically and mentally. While the focus is rightfully on finding any trace of the other missing individuals, Abraham’s experience seems like it could offer valuable insights into the survival possibilities in such extreme conditions. Has anyone come across his interviews or statements? It would be enlightening to see how he describes the ordeal.
