Has anyone else heard about Marlene Yvonne Abigosis' case? I came across it recently and something that stood out to me was how Marlene used to travel with clients on their boats to places like Washington State and Vancouver Island. I'm wondering if anyone has looked into her connections in those areas? It seems like there could be more information out there that wasn't fully explored, especially since she mentioned plans to leave Vancouver. Also, the fact that her case wasn't taken seriously by law enforcement for nearly two decades is incredibly frustrating and shows how Indigenous women are often overlooked. It feels like more could've been done earlier to piece things together and maybe trace her movements through her work around the docks. If anyone knows more about this angle or has insights, I'd love to hear them.
