Hey everyone, I'm new here but came across Edwin Greathouse III's case while reading about missing persons. There's something that's been bugging me about the details—specifically the lack of media coverage back when he vanished. I mean, how does someone that tall (6'6"!) and with such a unique appearance slip under the radar, especially when he's missing for over four years? I would think that'd be something the media would latch onto to drum up interest or tips. Could it be a resource issue for the local police, or was it simply a matter of the story not catching on in the larger news cycle for some reason? It’s frustrating to think that if there had been more public attention early on, there might have been more tips or leads. Kudos to all of you who’ve been keeping his story alive in spaces like this. It gives me hope that at least here, we can still keep an eye out and discuss possibilities. Anyone from Arkansas or Texas know if there were local initiatives or volunteer groups trying to help search when this first happened?
