Hey everyone, I was reading up on Sharea Yashen Ridge’s disappearance, and something's really been bugging me. Why did it take two whole years for her family to report her missing? I know she had a transient lifestyle and was last seen around homeless camps in Waco, but two years is such a long time. I can't help but wonder if there's more to the story about her relationship with her family or if certain circumstances kept them from reporting her sooner. Maybe they lost contact and assumed she chose to move on? Or perhaps they didn't realize the seriousness of the situation right away. Anyway, I'm curious to hear what you all think or if anyone has found similar cases where it took such a long time for the report to be made. It's just unsettling that this delay could have seriously hampered the efforts to find her.
