Has anyone else been thinking about the conditions on the day David went missing? It seems like a perfect storm of bad circumstances. With rain and snow coming in around 10:30 a.m., I can’t help but wonder if the weather is what threw him off. As an experienced runner, I'm sure David had been through various conditions before, but mountain weather can be so unpredictable. Does anyone know if there were any specific discussions about the weather forecast on local forums or running groups before his run? And would it have been enough for someone with his experience to call off or alter his route? It's such rugged terrain out there; even seasoned runners can misstep if conditions aren't favorable. I also wonder about the other two missing runners mentioned in this forum and if there's any pattern regarding weather conditions in those cases. I keep thinking about how such a dedicated runner, familiar with these trails, could just vanish like this. It’s all so puzzling.
