I was looking into Melissa Hatley's case today, and something that stood out to me was how little coverage it's received compared to other missing person cases. It's puzzling that after more than two years, we're still lacking any significant leads or media attention. Given the nature of her last known location—a wooded area—I'm curious if there have been any search and rescue operations out there? Anyone know if they've used drones or cadaver dogs in that area? It's hard to believe someone could vanish without a trace in such a manner. Anyone from the Hillsdale area or with more local insight? Would love to hear more thoughts about why this isn't getting more attention.

Just wanted to throw something out there about Melissa Hatley's case that might spark some conversation. Has anyone looked into any recent developments or new infrastructure projects in the Hillsdale area around where she went missing? I've been reading up on cases where people vanish near construction sites, as sometimes there's a lot of unusual activity or disruptions to usual local routines that could play a role, intentionally or not. I know it's a stretch, but sometimes it's details like these that haven't been heavily discussed that might give us some new angles to consider. If locals or anyone familiar with the area could weigh in, it’d be really interesting to see if anything out of the ordinary was happening around May 2021.

Has anyone heard anything about that unmarked trail close to where Melissa Hatley was last seen? I've been digging through some old hiking forums, and a couple of people mentioned that the area has a few unofficial paths that aren't on any maps. These trails supposedly wind pretty deep into the woods, and some can be difficult to navigate if you're not familiar with the terrain. I'm wondering if anyone local to the Hillsdale area might know more about these trails and if they've ever seen people using them frequently. Could this be relevant to the case? Maybe Melissa could have taken one of these paths and gotten lost? Just trying to add some pieces to the puzzle since there seems to be so little info available.
