Has anyone checked out the angle that Jerry might have traveled out of New Madrid? It's a small town and people can disappear fast if they head to a different area. Maybe looking into nearby cities or times he might have mentioned wanting to leave could help. Did Jerry have a car or access to transportation that day? Sometimes people hop on a bus or hitch a ride with someone without leaving much of a trace. It seems odd that there are so few clues. Could be worthwhile checking for any sightings or reports about someone matching his description outside of Missouri, especially in the neighboring states. Just a thought.

Has anyone else been following the Jerry L. Simmons Jr. case from New Madrid? I’ve been trying to piece things together, and something that puzzles me is the lack of media coverage. We see so many missing person cases getting at least some attention, but it feels like Jerry’s story has slipped through the cracks. Surely a 32-year-old man disappearing without a trace should have caught more eyes by now? I wonder if the local authorities in Newton County have reached out for help from any larger organizations or if they're relying mostly on local resources. Also, if anyone has insights on any community efforts to raise awareness, I'd love to hear more. It just feels like the more people talk about it, the better chance there is of someone remembering something important. Thoughts?
