Has anyone else been thinking about how Roberto Padilla Arguelles was just two weeks away from going home to his family? The fact that he was at the Boise Towne Square Mall preparing to reunite with his loved ones really sticks with me. He was picking out presents, probably imagining the look on his family's faces when he handed them over. It's so difficult to wrap my head around the randomness and senselessness of this tragedy. He seemed to be someone who genuinely cared about making others happy and providing for them, and it's heart-wrenching to know that his family in Zacatecas was waiting with so much anticipation for his return, unaware of the tragedy about to unfold. I hope they find strength in each other during this unimaginably difficult time. ?
