Hey everyone, just came across this baffling case about Amina and Belel Kandil. Something I've been pondering on... Why Turkey as a transit point? I mean, if Ahmed Kandil intended to disappear with them, wouldn't it have made more sense to take a more direct route to Egypt, given that's where they're suspected to be now? Maybe I'm overthinking this, but the choice of flights could indicate a longer plan or trying to throw off any potential trails. It's been so many years without answers. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle? I've also seen the age-progressed photos and it's so surreal to see how much they've grown. Hopefully it helps jog someone's memory or lead to new information. Keeping my fingers crossed for the family.
