Did anyone see what was on the news last night about Ruthey Macenzie Smith? It's so frustrating that there are still no solid leads. I found it particularly chilling that her fear and desire to escape were so evident before she vanished. It's almost as if she knew something was going to happen. I keep wondering why more isn't being done in this area of L.A. It’s known for prostitution activity, and Ruthey isn’t the first person who has gone missing from there. But what breaks my heart is thinking about how this young woman might have been trying to protect her daughter, Ezra. I hope someone out there comes forward with information soon. Her family deserves answers.
