I’ve been thinking a lot about the role that community efforts might play in searching for missing teens like Joshua Braithwaite. It seems like in so many cases, the community becomes a crucial lifeline. In Discovery Bay, I know that friends and family have been tirelessly trying to keep his face and story in the public’s eye. Social media is such a powerful tool these days—it's amazing and sometimes overwhelming to see how quickly information spreads. It makes me wonder, though, are there better ways we can organize these efforts to be more effective? Maybe ways to ensure more eyes are on these cases more consistently? Would love to hear what others have seen work well in similar cases.

I was just browsing some local news updates and thought it was really frustrating how little information has been shared about Joshua Braithwaite's disappearance from Discovery Bay. It's already been a while since April 28, 2025, and yet we still don’t know much about what happened. While I understand the need to keep certain details under wraps for investigation purposes, it's got to be difficult for the community and his family, who are obviously in desperate need for answers. There must be someone out there who knows something and might not even realize the importance of what they know. I've seen footage from previous cases where a seemingly minor observation ended up being a key piece of the puzzle. If you were around that area or know anyone who might have seen something on that day, it could really make a difference. Let's keep sharing Joshua’s details far and wide until we get the answers everyone is searching for.
