Hey everyone, I've been following Nicholas Mostert's case for a while, and I keep coming back to the reports about the conditions of the Yellowstone River on that day. The flow was recorded at nearly 6,000 cubic feet per second, which is incredibly powerful—it's not surprising they had such difficulty recovering anything tangible. From what I've read, the force and speed of the river mean it could have carried him far downstream very quickly. It made me wonder how often items or remains are recovered in similar circumstances years after an incident like this. Does anyone know if there have been cases where things have turned up later? It's just a thought, but maybe the river dynamics can alter over time or during different seasons, possibly making it more or less likely for something to get uncovered. If you have any insights or similar cases to share, I'd be interested to hear more!

It’s so sad to hear about Nicholas Mostert's case in Yellowstone. I've read through some discussions, and I'm curious if anything has ever come up about other similar incidents in that area. It seems like such a dangerous spot, with the power and speed of the water being so underestimated. Does anyone know if the park made any changes or put up additional safety measures after what happened to Nicholas? It's such a vast and wild place, and I can only imagine how challenging it must have been for searchers in that environment. If anyone has insight into how the park deals with such tragedies, it would be appreciated.
