I'm curious if anyone here knows more about the area around Whitney Dam where William's remains were found. From what I gather, it's a pretty remote spot, right? I wonder how thoroughly it was searched initially. It's been bothering me that it took over two years to find his remains if he was really close to where his car was left. Does anyone have insight into what the search efforts would have looked like in such a heavily wooded area? Could things have changed over the years in terms of visibility or accessibility that finally led to the discovery of his belongings? I hope the family can find some closure now, but I can't help but wonder if different search conditions could have changed the timeline of the discovery.

Hey everyone, just a thought I've been pondering over about the case of William Curtis Stramp. With his vehicle found at that convenience store, it seems like such a bold move, almost like he intended for it to be noticed quickly. I can't help but wonder if the location choice was deliberate, perhaps as a last attempt to communicate something before heading into the wooded area. There's a lot of speculation, but might he have hoped this spot would guide future search efforts? It's uncanny how some details in missing person cases sometimes point to planned actions, and yet, they leave us with so many more questions. Anyone else think there could be significance in where he left his car?
