I’ve been reading about the Carol Sue Snyder case again, and something that keeps coming to mind is the location where her remains were found. It's curious how her body was discovered under a bridge on US Route 183 in Clinton, Oklahoma. That spot isn’t exactly close to where she was last seen in Richardson, Texas, or where she was allegedly headed near Cordell. It makes me wonder if the route she took had any significance to her or her potential abductor. Was it a spur-of-the-moment decision, or did she or the person who harmed her have connections along that stretch of road? Also, it’s peculiar that nobody noticed something suspicious around the bridge at that time. I hope local residents from back then might remember something and come forward, even after all these years. Any insights or theories?

Has anyone else looked into the weather conditions around the time Carol Sue Snyder went missing? I've been curious if any storms or heavy rains might have disrupted the area back in June 1982, particularly since her remains were found under a bridge. Could it have been difficult for search efforts during that time due to weather? I know tracking such details from decades ago is tough, but sometimes overlooked factors like this can play a role. Maybe old weather records or newspaper archives could offer some insights? It just seems worth considering, given the location and circumstances surrounding where she was ultimately discovered.
