Hey everyone, I've been going over the details of Charles Earl Smith's case, and I stumbled upon something interesting that hasn't been discussed much. It seems Charlie might have had a long-standing interest in ham radio operations. Given his background and need for a hearing aid, communication might have been more difficult in traditional ways, so maybe he turned to ham radios as a hobby or a means to stay in touch? I'm curious if there's any chance this could have played a role in his disappearance or if he attempted to contact anyone through this channel. Does anyone here know if investigators have looked into records from local ham radio operators in areas he was familiar with? Just a thought. Would love to hear what you all think!
