I've been looking into Willie Cooper's case, and I can't stop thinking about how his truck was found overheated on I-45 in Fairfield. I wonder if anyone has considered whether something specific to Fairfield could have influenced him to stop there. Could it have been a place he remembered from earlier visits or a familiar landmark? Given his Alzheimer's diagnosis, maybe a memory resurfaced that led him to leave the truck. It's just a thought, but if anyone has info about Willie’s connections to Fairfield or nearby, it could help piece together what happened on that day.
I was just looking over the Willie Cooper case and started wondering about the timing of his pickup truck overheating. It's such a critical part of the puzzle because it could tell us more about what really happened that night. Given that it's Texas in June, I imagine the temperatures were pretty high, which might have contributed to the truck overheating, especially if it was running for a long time. But here's what gets me: did Willie try to get help when the truck broke down? If it was overheating, it seems plausible someone might have seen him on the side of the road or offered assistance. It’s odd that there aren’t any reports of sightings or interactions after the police officer in Fairfield. With him being a veteran and possibly disoriented due to Alzheimer’s, he might not have known who to reach out to for help. I can’t help but think there are still some missing pieces here. Anyone else have thoughts on this aspect, or noticed similar patterns in other cases?
