Hey folks, I wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind about Dalia Bayardo Castro's case. I was going through some old articles and noticed there wasn’t much coverage about her possibly being in Austin. Is anyone here from the Austin area or nearby and remembers seeing any flyers or bulletins about her from around that time? I know a lot can change in a city over the years, but sometimes local memories can be surprisingly sharp. It’s frustrating that there’s not much info to go on, but maybe someone caught a detail that got overlooked. Let’s keep sharing whatever we can to keep her story alive.
Has anyone else been following the mystery surrounding Dalia Bayardo Castro? I came across her case while researching missing persons in Texas and was puzzled by the lack of information available. It’s strange how even after all these years, there’s still barely any detail on what led to her disappearance.
I’m particularly interested in the fact that she might have gone to Austin. Given its size and transient population, it seems like she could blend in easily there. But I wonder if there are any specific reasons authorities believe she might be in Austin—maybe past connections or ties to that area? Also, I read she might need medical attention. It makes me think that could be a really big clue—maybe she reached out to someone for help, or visited a clinic? I hope the investigators have looked into hospitals or clinics in Austin around that time.
