Has anyone else found it strange how the alleged unconfirmed sightings of Edna Blodgett traveling toward Amarillo never got much attention? I mean, if someone truly did see her on the move, where was she planning to go, and who was she with? Amarillo isn't just around the corner from Post. Could it be possible she had managed to get away somehow and those sightings were legitimate? Or, conversely, was this another cruel attempt by Smith to create false leads and divert attention away from himself? It's frustrating to think that there might be vital information out there that's been overlooked. Anyone have insights or theories on this angle?
