I've been going down the rabbit hole on Cheryl Schille Wyant's case, and I can't shake the bizarre timing of when she was reported missing. It’s perplexing to me that she wasn’t officially reported vanished until 1995, nearly two decades after she was last seen. Why Rohnert Park, of all places? There’s no record of her having any ties there. Could it be a clerical mix-up, or did someone from that area finally become concerned enough to file the report? This delay is troubling and might have cost valuable leads. Anyone have any theories or insights on why Rohnert Park came into the picture so much later?

Hey everyone, I’ve been digging into Cheryl Schille Wyant's case, and something stuck out to me that I haven’t noticed discussed much elsewhere. It’s Cheryl’s connection to Seattle just before her disappearance. She was found there after running away before ending up in that children’s home in Oregon. I’m wondering if there were people or places in Seattle she felt safe with or was trying to get back to. If that’s the case, could it be possible her roots or connections there played a significant role in her disappearance? Were there friends or even a family member she kept in touch with? Also, considering she resurfaced in California without a missing person’s report filed at that time, it's mystifying how she managed to travel between states like that—alone, it seems. If anyone has thoughts or can dig up leads on her time in Seattle, it might be worth pursuing. There could be untapped angles here.
