Have any of you guys looked into the conditions at St. Michael's Home around the time Rafael Escobar Jr. disappeared? I've been reading about how troubled that place was, with reports of alcohol and drug abuse, not to mention physical and sexual violence. It's unsettling to imagine what Rafael might have been experiencing daily. The fact that the home closed just two years after his disappearance makes me wonder if there were deeper issues at play. It could be a potential lead or at least something that played into his state of mind before he went missing. Does anyone here have more details or know someone who might have firsthand information from that time? It might shine some light on what he was dealing with and whether others in the home had a role in what happened to him.
I recently came across Rafael Escobar Jr.'s case, and something that really caught my attention was the atmosphere at St. Michael's Home for Children. From what I've read, there were serious issues there, from drug and alcohol abuse to reports of violence. It makes me wonder about the environment Rafael was trying to navigate every day. Could this troubled setting have played a role in his disappearance? I find it deeply concerning that no leads have been developed, especially considering the suspicions of foul play. If anyone has more information on what life was like inside St. Michael's during that time, I'd be interested in hearing more. It could give us clues about what might have happened to Rafael.
